Process Overview:
The Global Markets NFRR is responsible for the preparation and submission of the NFRR reports on periodic basis and share with the Line of business. Key activities include - Generating the report, Performing and Analyzing data quality checks- Investigate data issues found- Perform manual adjustments if any- Get signoff from relevant stake holders on the report generated- Archival of Submission and Supporting Documentation. Team also partners and support few other functions like Transformation, continuous improvement and Production Monitoring as horizontals.
Job Description:
As part of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch GBAM Ops, the incumbent will be a part for Global Markets NFRR - Equity Aggregation Team in India
The Equity Aggregation resource is responsible for position monitoring and preparation of non- financial regulatory disclosures under the relevant regulatory reporting laws across multiple regimes (substantial shareholdings, takeovers, short positions, beneficial ownership notices and industry limits) for the Global Markets and Wealth Management business divisions. In addition to this, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving our organization's business processes to drive efficiency and enhance overall performance.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the incumbent would be
- Ensure delivery of complete, accurate and timely regulatory reports to regulatory agencies
- Perform daily activities in preparation of periodic regulatory filings, such as 13G,13F,13H and 13D reports.
- Executes control practices including compliance with all regulatory/ policy requirements and data quality standards.
- Document key risks, performance indicators, desktop procedures including controls and metrics related reporting.
- Execute QA/QC and report production tasks for non-financial regulatory reports.
- Identify, track errors/breaches, data issues and control enhancements that impact the respective report.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, considering both operational and technological solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design new processes, and ensure successful implementation.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on new processes and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in business process reengineering methodologies.

Foundational Skills:
- Experience in Equity Aggregation Operations or Compliance (also known as Position Reporting, Shareholding Disclosures, Disclosures of Interest
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking industry, equities, and derivative products
- Strong data analytical skills with experience in analyzing managing and reporting from large sets of structured data
- Able to produce accurate work output and reports under tight deadlines
- Communicates effectively in both oral and written formats and tailors' message appropriate to audience
- Able to think critically to quick analyze and resolve issue
- Influences and delivers results through collaborative relationship with key partners and stakeholders
- Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity with a mature approach to work
Desired Skill:
- Experience in Equity Aggregation Operations or Compliance (also known as Position Reporting, Shareholding Disclosures, Disclosure of Interest)
- Regulatory reporting experience and/or experience in a global markets regulatory reporting environment or exposure to position/transaction processes/life cycle (other than Equity Aggregation)
- Experience in performing user acceptance testing for system and data enhancements
