Location Overview:
Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London's greenest boroughs. Here you'll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.
Role Description:
An opportunity has arisen to join the Loans Agency & Bi-lateral Servicing & Operations Team. The successful candidate will work in a dedicated Servicing team of 10 reporting to the section manager. The Loans Agency Team handles moderately complex customer problems and issues for assigned accounts. Requires a minimum amount of day-to-day supervision and can handle detailed instructions under pressure and a relatively high volume of credits. Has a well-developed expertise/knowledge, but not yet considered to be the "expert" for the assigned area. Has a good working knowledge of the various credit-related products and a good understanding of loan/credit documentation. Takes initiative to work through issues.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for your own portfolio of agented and directs deals
- First point of contact for clients
- Processing of Drawdowns, Rollovers, Rate Fixings, Assignments, Revaluations, fee calculations and Reconciliation
- Booking and maintenance of the Loan portfolio in LoanIQ
- Supporting our Front Office business partners Agency Management, Fulfilment; Leveraged Finance; Portfolio Managers, Asset Based Lending and SAG.
- Point of contact for supporting our syndicated operations team
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a similar role and have a deep understanding of maintaining a loan portfolio.
- Experience with LoanIQ
- Knowledge of lending, servicing, and loans
- Organisational and prioritisation skills
- Communication skills at all levels (Oral & Written)
- Whilst working in an environment of constant change, the candidate must be adaptable and have an operational excellence focus.
Skills that will help:
- Previous documentation experience would be a keen advantage (Legal Structures and Legal Forms)
- Attention to Detail
- Having an analytical mindset will be a plus
