Process Overview

The CSWT team leads the development of the next generation of integrated technology solutions for the company's consumer and wealth management client-facing channels. Manages the Bank's award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives. Responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Retail, Preferred, and GWIM including our Digital, Online, Mobile, Contact Center and Voice, Payments and Commerce, Fraud, Financial Center and Architecture Technologies.

The CTO team is responsible for all Retail, Preferred and Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM) business aligned infrastructure and end-to-end production services. This includes direct responsibility for production support, problem and incident management, operational change, as well as service and program delivery. Also supporting vertical functions (Release, Deployment & Environment Management, Application Integration & Engineering, Application Integration & Engineering, Performance & Capacity Management, and Operational Excellence) to deepen concentration stability and innovation.

Job Description

This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include looking for opportunities to improve efficiency when implementing and maintaining tools/services and embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements


  • Education B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
  • Experience Range 5 - 8 years

Foundational Skills

Support role working with JBOSS Build Activities, Installation, Configuration & Triaging of JOBSS 8 and supporting BAU Activities.

Support Migration of applications from WebSphere to JBOSS by leading the initiative end to end.

Support role working with the IBM WebSphere Application Server (release 7.X/8.X/9.X)

Strong experience in installing and configuring WAS in a multi instance environment (all flavors of UNIX platform)

Experience of WAS clustering

Need to be familiar with building servers, installing software, deployments of Wars, EAR's and ongoing support.

Ability to install and troubleshoot. Self managed proven ability to identify circumstances and changes which may impact deliverables.

Should have Strong experience in Certificate Management, Plugin generation, JAR file creation

Extensive WebSphere administration WebSphere application server v 7.X/8.X/9.X; IBM HTTP Server; WebSphere Security & SSL; Platform: Red Hat Linux, Zlinux

Should be comfortable with WebSphere version and patch deployments / Fixpack Upgrades.

Experience with the IBM IHS,TOMCAT and/or Apache web servers.

Responsible for support of JDBC connectivity to different Database Layers.

Experience with AppDynamics/SiteScope Monitoring tool. Scripting experience (desirable).

Needs solid WebSphere application server administration experience with strong emphasis on diagnostic & performance tuning skills.

Desired Skills

The candidates should be well versed in diagnosing out-of-memory, Thread Hung, Connection timeout issues as well as tuning the heaps.

Experience in working on BladeLogic Deployments, Ansible and XLrelease will be added advantage

Experience on Scripting would be added advantage

Should have excellent communication skills (written & oral)

Experience with on-call support for the production environment.
