Process Overview

Enterprise Payments Technology - Global Business Services team is involved in Architecture, Development & Testing. Applications in EPT provide critical services to our customers and clients such as Zelle, that enables person to person payments, Digital Wallets, Debit Card Purchase, Bill Payments, Merchant Acquiring, International and Domestic Remittances, Mortgage Payments, Scheduled Transfers. It also supports capabilities for Card Management, External Account Management and Settlement. The EPT team is playing a crucial role in transformational initiatives and maintaining digital payments change. Team here is involved in executing strategies like NEVER DOWN, and Payment Simplification. Platform Stability as part of Never Down is also a focus area due to the need for high availability of the payment's platform for our customers. The India team is spread across 4 locations in India - Chennai, Gurugram, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Continuous Innovation is our motto, with over 100 patents, multiple Op-ex process improvements to its name. At the same time, we are a highly engaged and motivated team that believes in having fun while working.

Job Description


This role is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team as they deliver technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the role include developing solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices. This role ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. They have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and have developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies.

Responsibilities

Building the Solution Right

• Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery.

• Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.

• Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.

• Responsible for compliance and security items and audit support at the team level.

• Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.

Work Planning and Execution

• Work with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with

clear acceptance criteria.

• Guide the team on work breakdown and execution.

Team Mentorship

• Play a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team.

• Guide team members with skills and practices (planning & estimation, peer reviews and other

engineering practices).

• Identify skill and role gaps, and work with Technology Manager to address them.

• Work with Technology Manager in creating resource contingency plans where required.

Requirements


Education

  • BE/B.Tech/MCA

Certifications If Any: NA

Experience Range


  • 10 to 12 Years

Foundational Skills

  • Proven experience in .NET Development, with proficiency in .NET Core.
  • Good expertise in Entity Framework, including Code First approach and EF Core.
  • Strong Hands-on experience with C# and object-oriented programming (Oops) concepts, along with proficiency in design patterns.
  • Expertise in MVC and Web API development.
  • Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, etc.
  • Familiarity with architectural styles and APIs, particularly Web API and REST.
  • Good understanding of Agile Methodologies, with experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience in Oracle database would be preferred.
  • ReactJS and VueJS will be added advantages.

Desired Skills


  • Good hands-on problem-solving ability and code quality.
  • Basic knowledge on API testing tool.
  • Experience in any agile methodology.
