Job Description

The Equity Swaps Trade Support team, provide cover and support to a variety of Desks across the equities division Including flow, yield enhancement and Delta 1 desks, with crossover into more structured and exotic products. The Team currently consists of 16 people.

This job is responsible for providing operational support for equity swaps, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners. Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Paris based roll - Hybrid working model (3 days in office per week minimum)
  • Query management with client e.g., mismatch of calculations; T1 reporting queries; valuations; cash flow confirms & general queries
  • Lifecycle swap management - increase / decrease of swaps; rebalance & resets
  • Work with Sales and trading desk on any RFI's -, help coordinate the in / out flows with end clients.
  • Build and maintain effective client relationships
  • Continuous improvement mind-set - identify and implement process improvements
  • Build robust operation controls in place for risk monitoring
  • Projects enhancement outside day to day, constantly seeking process improvements and build strong relationship with Tech/FO/BO and relevant stakeholders

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Good client service ethic, with prior experience working in a client facing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Knowledge of Equity Derivatives and Delta One universe, preferably Swaps
  • Skills in Excel required (VBA / Python preferred)
  • Fluent in both English and French, other languages appreciated
