Role Description:
Want to work in a challenging and supportive team environment, in which you will be expected to manage a multitude of Futures & Options and OTC Clearing client relationships from an operational perspective? Responsibilities Include:
- Acting as the client services representative for a number of the Bank's clearing clients
- Responding to exceptions raised by clients and liaising with multiple operational functions globally to resolve issues
- Responsible for the administration of client profiles on the Bank's online tools
- Communicate and educate clients in relation to regulatory and industry changes
- Continuous improvement of the operational environment and client support model, with an STP focus
- Provide support to junior team members and act as a point of escalation
- Partnering closely with Technology, Operations and Front Office to drive change
- Lead ongoing reviews of processes and client operational offerings
What we are looking for:
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and processes
- Bachelor's degree
- Work in a fast-paced environment and can prioritise and multi-task under pressure
- Listed derivative market, specifically futures & options and cleared OTC product knowledge, as well as being well versed in trade execution and clearing
- Experience working in a global environment with outsourced partners
- Industry rules and regulations knowledge as well as industry wide business practices (e.g. MIFID, Mandatory Exchange Clearing, EMIR & CASS rules) is beneficial
- Evaluate the risk elements of such a client facing role and ensure tasks are carried out in a controlled fashion
Additional Skills:
- Excellent communicator as the function entails frequent interaction with business partners and clients, in addition to providing support to other members of the CSR team / operational group
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as the standard industry systems such as GMI and FIA DOCs.
