Job Description
The role sits within the Global Markets Operations Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (GMO NFRR) Central team and reports to the APAC Head of GMO NFRR.

The team provides GMO governance and management oversight of NFRR reporting in the APAC region (12 countries) as well as drives data control and strategic efforts to mitigate compliance and operational risks inherent to the production and submission of regulatory reports to regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities
• Ensures GMO adheres to all enterprise policies, standards and controls relevant to NFRR reporting.
• Enables business process and control performance through the monitoring, reporting, assessing, and improving of NFRR operations health.

• Escalates and supports the remediation of NFRR risks and issues within GMO.
• Supports report inventory change control of GMO Report Preparers (RP) and Manual Data Providers (MDP), including report intake management and role dispute resolution.
• Leads or oversees change initiatives (Technology/Process/People) to achieve compliant and sustainable outcomes.
• Develops and manages GMO staffing models, budgets, and servicing strategy.
• Drives consistent communication and best practices among GMO RPs and MDPs.
• Supports procedures maintenance and quality control testing.

Requirements
• Able to work collaboratively and under pressure in a dynamic team environment, facing off to multiple stakeholder groups and partner teams across the Enterprise globally.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders across various seniority levels.
• Sound risk control mindset, dispositioned to identify potential threats, evaluate likelihood and impact, and determine the best approach to mitigate or manage those risks.
• Keen attention to detail, analytical, and logical thinker with highly developed problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of data management governance, data mining, data analytics, and data technologies and tools.
• Strong project/change management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies, and deliver desired outcomes on time.
• Experience within a risk or regulatory compliance domain is advantageous. So is the knowledge of Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting requirements, policies, or standards.
