Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth sector and market research on leveraged loans and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).
  • Use SQL skills or prior experience with similar data processing languages, client meetings, and responding to requests on data, strategy, and market insights.
  • Perform statistical analysis using SQL on CLO credit trends, collateral quality metrics and cash flow distributions to formulate broad-based market recommendations.
  • Update CLO market statistics on a regular basis.
  • Learn about the fundamentals of CLOs and broader securitized product markets, staying on top of the news and sector trends that may impact sector recommendations.
  • Use financial trading software including Bloomberg and Intex to facilitate and execute trades.
  • Use pragmatic market knowledge in a variety of sectors within fixed income market, including government bonds, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, and interest rate derivatives.
  • Assess the pricing and liquidity of different fixed income products under different economic conditions to provide practical trading ideas to clients.
  • Automate manual processes that require large data sets using Python, SQL, and VBA to prepare customized reports.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related; and
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.
  • Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Using financial trading software including Bloomberg and Intex to facilitate and execute trades;
  • Using pragmatic market knowledge in a variety of sectors within fixed income market, including government bonds, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, and interest rate derivatives;
  • Assessing the pricing and liquidity of different fixed income products under different economic conditions to provide practical trading ideas to clients; and,
  • Automating manual processes that require large data sets using Python, SQL, and VBA to prepare customized reports.

Pay range

$175,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
