Role Description:

We are looking for an Associate to join our Frankfurt based Corporate Debt Capital Markets team focused on clients in the Germany, Austria & Switzerland region. The team is responsible for originating and executing bond transactions across multiple different markets for some of the largest and most sophisticated corporates in Europe. You will work closely with the wider Global Capital Markets team as well as partnering with Corporate and Investment Banking colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal execution
  • Ensuring clients have a 'best in class' experience with BofA
  • Preparation of market materials
  • Liaising internally with teams (syndicate, roadshow, legal, derivatives) as well as with other banks in the syndicate group
  • Ensuring all internal approvals and protocols are followed ahead of deal announcement
  • Ongoing client relationships
  • Preparing new issue pricing and market updates
  • Help in preparing client meeting materials (ppt.)
  • Preparing and sending market commentary and update emails directly to clients
  • Assist the rest of the junior population across Europe with a variety of tasks

What we are looking for:

  • Fluency in German
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with a number of live mandates and projects simultaneously
  • Good technical ability and interest in financial markets
