Process Overview

Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities they build address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing their activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation.

Job Description

Resource will drive critical risk evaluation work that will be applied across the Data Movement services and support Issue Management for Enterprise Data Management. This team member will be critical to influence and drive the identification, tracking and closure of all risk and compliance efforts for Data Movement. This team member will be responsible for enabling and operationalizing compliance of the External Data Transmission Standard Data Registration across the organization. Resource will drive critical work tied to service delivery with focus on development of test scenarios, analysis of test results and impacts, and reporting preparation to support continuous enhancements and enriched Data Movement services functionality. The team member will be responsible for ensuring that all developed functionality complies with all requirements to support Privacy, Compliance, Resiliency and Cloud Governance for data movement.

The personnel should have the skills related to the environmental and social disclosures, particularly with respect to annual report, Bond Report, CDP, TCFD. Experience with data management processes and technology tools/systems.

Requirements*

  • Education - Bachelor's Degree (advanced degree a plus) - Common areas of study include but are not limited to: Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Process and Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration, Audit Management, Risk Management
  • Experience - 5-7 years

Foundational Skills:

  • Experience executing day-to-day routine tasks related to test execution, analysis, reporting and escalation for process and application support (MUST-HAVE)
  • Technical Writing experience using technical evidence (MUST-HAVE)
  • Execute QA test Reviews (perform in-depth review of peer's test scripts, rationale and documentation)
  • Good knowledge of banking products
  • Regulatory Reporting/Liquidity reporting exposure
  • Experience in Performing QA/Testing/Audit
  • Ability to engage/collaborate with management at various levels
  • Experience working with various ETL tools to interpret intent of control design and scheduling intentions (required)
  • Experience working in a team that is audit focused, with strong controls management skills (CRISC/CISA a plus)
  • Proficient in MS office including Power Point, Excel and Word
  • Be familiar with Confluence, JIRA and Quality Center
  • Have direct controls testing experience, specifically having tested Data Controls (Data Quality, Data Movement, Data Governance), within processes, systems and regulatory reports (desired)
  • Be proactive, detail oriented and a team player. Have intellectual curiosity and be active in lending support/help to the team when capacity allows.
  • Previous experience in working with sustainability programs for an organization.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Bank to identify risks, document risks, and analyze testing requirements.
  • Use programming skills and knowledge of software development lifecycle principles to write testing code.
  • Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability reporting utilizing the Global Reporting Initiative and other industry-specific tools.
  • Work proactively to evaluate data, design, develop and execute tests in timely fashion by analyzing, and processes to continue and enhance initiative operations. Use good judgment with understanding of Initiative context to identify priorities and enhancements.
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills and strong attention to details.
