Job Overview:

Act as a direct resource and primary point of contact for all invoice related questions both in the Commercial department and with suppliers.

Serve as the liaison between AP, Commercial Infrastructure team and our partner suppliers, aiding in the investigation, coordination and resolution of escalated billing and payment issues.

Provide superior level customer service and assist, mentor, and cross-train others when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.

Coordinate uploads, XML entry and resolution, including testing new procedures and processes.

Ensure accurate and timely entry of data into Oracle Accounting System, researching statements and managing invoice/account issues.

Route invoices and expenses for proper purchase level approval and accuracy of coding information on invoices and matched purchase orders.

Resolve system holds, coding issues, and balancing difficulties in a timely manner.

Follow up on required monthly upload files and billings to ensure timely record of expenses for hospital P&L's.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with CTS teams, Hospitals, and suppliers.

Research statements and manage invoice/account issues.

Process recurring lease payments (equipment, stand-alone rent, etc.).

Track, process and maintain stand-alone rents, leases, and utilities.

Provide work direction, assist, mentor, and train others.

Retrieve audit documents as required.

Qualifications:

BS Degree in Business or Accounting or similar

Professional experience with knowledge of accounting principles

Intermediate Excel skills required

Prior accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger experience
