As a Balsam Brands Growth Strategist, you will support highly impactful projects across multiple functions of our fast-growing omni-channel retail & eCommerce company. You will work closely with senior leaders and team members across all functional areas, supporting projects in diverse areas such as partnerships and strategic alliances, business development, international new markets, retail, operations strategy, business-to-business sales, and more. You will participate in the planning and implementation of strategic projects in a fun, creative, and inspiring work environment.

This full-time position reports to the Senior Growth Manager and is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in-office.
What you’ll do: You will be an integral part of the team leading innovative and out-of-the-box initiatives across our brand portfolio. This could include:
- Conducting market research and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for new, adjacent business products and services that align with the company’s portfolio
- Investigating and analyzing potential innovative business development projects, with a focus on evaluating their viability and strategic fit
- Assisting in the development and testing of new business models, including initial research, drafting concepts, and providing data-driven recommendations
- Supporting the exploration of new international market opportunities by researching trends, competitors, and potential entry strategies
- Evaluating and testing strategic partnerships aligned with the company’s brand values
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor of Business Administration
- Minimum of 2 years in roles involving market research, business strategy, or project evaluation, preferably in a fast-paced or innovative environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze both qualitative insights and quantitative data, transforming findings into actionable strategies and recommendations
- Proven experience conducting comprehensive market and competitor research, identifying emerging trends and new opportunities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization, to analyze and present findings effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing compelling presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint
- A natural ability to think innovatively and develop unique strategies to approach challenges and opportunities
- Experience in managing projects with competing priorities, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with diverse teams, fostering alignment and shared success on strategic initiatives

The base pay range for this position is: $73,000 to $91,000. Where an individual falls within that range will vary based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on candidate qualifications and experience, applicable skills, and other job-related factors. We benchmark our pay ranges against current external data sources and regularly review compensation for our team members.
