Workforce Support Engineer

Avanade is growing, and we seek passionate and driven technology professionals to join our Managed Services team delivering continuous value to our client's businesses.

We are seeking a M365 / End User Support Engineer.

As an experienced M365 / End User Support engineer within our Workplace practice, you will bring support experience to the technical delivery of enterprise scale solutions into public, hybrid, and secure cloud environments. You will be responsible for working closely with customers to provide a high touch managed services partnership model and ensure a great customer experience.

Core to the role

Your experience in M365 / End User support, including Office365, Identity Management, Intune, Azure Active Directory, Monitoring, auditing, and operations is foundational to this role.

We also need you to have experience across a variety of technologies that may include:
* Active Directory User and Device Group Policy management
* Remote Microsoft Windows 10/11 management via Intune / SCCM
* Service Request Management
* Software License Management
* Software updates and patching management
* Mobile Application Management (MAM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) operational management
* M365 Operational management - Exchange, Endpoint, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Pivotal to the role is your ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form. Your passion for supporting clients and shaping the ongoing continual improvement of our clients' solutions is what is required for this role

About you

You are an experienced End User support engineer with a track record of support engineering and client focus. You have good communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute effectively to our Managed Services organisation.

You will also possess analytical and problem-solving skills enabling you to be creative and innovative in the support of our clients. You will also seek to continually improve our clients' environments though evergreen practices and platform evolution.

You will be an Australian Citizen with existing security clearance (Preferably NV-1).

In addition, your professional skillset likely includes:

• Proven ability to work within a structured IT governance framework and deliver results that adhere to relevant Commonwealth standards and policies.

• Stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, both written and verbal with ability to negotiate outcomes as required.

• Provide technical expertise to projects and business areas.

• Maintains a high level of professionalism, has sound judgement and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and is highly motivated.
