Job Description:
[MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Avanade Inc. seeks Sr. Managers, Solution Architecture in Seattle, WA to work as the solution lead for new opportunities and direct large proposal efforts leading virtual teams and collaborating with local and global resources. In this role, you will: understand client business needs and industry trends to spark innovative thinking and develop trusted advisor relationships with client executives; work with the Business Development team to develop and execute selling strategies; proactively deliver strategic messages and roadmaps to new and existing clients; lead client workshops and requirements discovery sessions; provide expertise to evaluate client business needs and align them based upon Avanade differentiators; provide solution fit assessment against client requirements; create and deliver innovative solution demonstrations of Avanade offerings, D365 for Customer Engagement, and supporting software including relevant ISV solutions; build relationships with opportunity channel partners to enable collaboration; support business value assessment and business case development; deliver high quality written and oral presentations; build relationships and evangelize Avanade offerings with Accenture, Microsoft, and other various industry groups and clients; provide input to the Region Offering Lead and Marketing Manager in developing and executing plans for brand development, client referrals, market awareness and market positioning; represent Avanade at relevant client and industry events and write POV documents that create positive exposure for Avanade; evangelize D365 Customer Engagement based offerings within the region; actively participate in Avanade industry and offer development to communities; contribute directly to the development of Avanade intellectual property and solution assets; participate in discovery engagements by leading workshops and providing solution design leadership and guidance; and perform sales stage knowledge transfer with the project delivery team. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic and international) is expected up to 80% of the time. Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Seattle, WA. Basic Qualifications:
The position requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, plus at least nine (9) years of experience as a Sr. Manager, Solution Architecture, or in a similar role in an IT or IT consulting capacity. A qualified applicant's experience must include: 8 years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Power Platform application code for Sales and Customer Service functionality; 8 years of experience developing client-based and/or web-based software solutions; 5 years of experience performing application development, complex code development, application testing, and component design; 8 years of experience working in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, Microsoft ASP, and Microsoft .NET; 4 years of experience using Azure; 4 years of experience in Data Migration using Microsoft SSIS and/or Azure Integration Services; 4 years of experience in Data Integration using Microsoft SSIS and/or Azure Integration Services; and Microsoft Certified professional in at least 2 certifications related to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Power Platform.
