**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Team Leadership & Development**
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Security Support Engineers, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC-200, SC-300) to excel in client engagements.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training gaps, and promote continuous learning in areas like **Microsoft Sentinel**, **Entra ID**, and emerging Azure/M365 security tools.

2. **Client Delivery & Accountability**
- Oversee high-priority security operations for the global client, ensuring SLAs (e.g., incident response times, threat resolution) are met and risks are mitigated.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical or client relationship issues, balancing technical depth with strategic problem-solving.

3. **Operational Efficiency**
- Streamline processes for incident management, threat detection, and identity governance workflows using **Microsoft Sentinel** and **Entra ID**.
- Implement KPIs to measure team productivity, client satisfaction, and alignment with the client's security roadmap.

4. **Strategic Collaboration**
- Partner with Avanade's global cybersecurity practice, Microsoft specialists, and Accenture teams to align client solutions with industry best practices.
- Advise the client on long-term security strategies, such as Zero Trust adoption or cloud-hybrid environment optimization.

5. **Risk & Compliance Governance**
- Ensure the team adheres to the client's compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) and internal Avanade standards.
- Oversee post-incident reviews and root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence of security gaps.

6. **Innovation & Growth**
- Drive adoption of new Microsoft security features (e.g., Sentinel Copilot, Entra ID Governance) to enhance the client's defenses.
- Identify opportunities to expand Avanade's engagement through upselling or cross-selling Microsoft security solutions.

**Qualifications for the Role:**
- Experience: in cybersecurity operations, with in leadership roles managing technical teams supporting enterprise clients.
- Technical Expertise: Strong grasp of Microsoft security tools (Sentinel, Entra ID, Defender), Active Directory, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Client Management: Proven ability to manage large global accounts, build trust with CISO-level stakeholders, and translate technical outcomes into business value.
- Certifications: Microsoft SC-series (e.g., SC-100, SC-200), CISSP, ITIL, or PMP (preferred).
