What You'll Do:

As a D365 F&O Finance Consultant, you will leverage your deep expertise in business analysis, financial processes, and industry best practices to design and implement tailored Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) solutions for medium to large enterprises. Your role will focus on translating complex business challenges into scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring optimal system performance and business alignment.

Key responsibilities include:

Solution Design & Implementation

* Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of D365 F&O financial solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations to optimise financial workflows.
* Configure and prototype D365 F&O modules to validate functionality and performance.
* Address system gaps by collaborating with technical teams to develop custom solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Workshops

* Conduct and facilitate discovery workshops with clients to understand and document financial processes, business requirements, and pain points.
* Advise stakeholders on best practices, solution capabilities, and change management strategies.
* Provide subject matter expertise and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless project execution.

Process Optimisation & Documentation

* Analyse and document financial and operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
* Develop functional design documents, process flows, test scripts, and training materials.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards during solution implementation.

User Training & System Adoption

* Develop and deliver end-user training programs to maximise adoption and operational efficiency.
* Provide ongoing post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and optimising system performance.

Collaboration & Leadership

* Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
* Work with global/offshore teams on implementation and maintenance projects, managing expectations and deliverables.

Skills and Experiences:

* Proven solid experience as a Functional Consultant specialising in D365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
* Deep understanding of finance, accounting principles, and ERP financial modules within D365 F&O.
* Proven track record in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
* Strong experience in leading implementation projects, including system configuration, testing, and deployment.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across different levels of an organization.
* Ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats, including Business Analysis, Design, Testing, and Training.
* Experience working with global and offshore teams on implementation and support projects.
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Certification is highly desirable.
* Travel may be required for client meetings, workshops, and project implementations based on business needs.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with Power Platform, Power BI, and integration with other Microsoft technologies.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
* Background in change management and user adoption strategies.

You will play a pivotal role in leading workshops, solution design, system configuration, and deployment while ensuring a smooth user adoption process.
Additionally, as a recognized expert within the Dynamics 365 community, you will be expected to stay at the forefront of industry advancements and contribute thought leadership through knowledge-sharing initiatives, community events, and internal training.
