About the Role:
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a real impact? Join our dynamic team at Avanade as a Cloud Security Solutions Consultant! In this client-facing role, you will be engaged in some of the most exciting, complex, and leading-edge projects. Together with the Avanade Team, you will play an active role in transforming our clients' Cloud and Network Security postures and operations through the design and implementation of cutting-edge Cloud Security technologies. Your focus will be on Microsoft Azure, M365, and Entra Security capabilities, as well as leading market vendors like Tanium and Quest.
As a Senior member of Avanade's security practice, you will be in a unique position to work for both Avanade and Accenture clients, ranging in size from medium to large global enterprise clients. You will contribute to the entire Avanade organization by being a collaborative and knowledge-sharing individual, with the real opportunity to help shape the global Avanade security offerings as well as demonstrating your thought-leadership by producing blogs and articles for your region and for Avanade.com. Your Skills:
• Designing and implementing state of the art security solutions (in the area of IAM, Data Protection and/or Cyber Defense).
• A deep overall knowledge on the various Microsoft Security Solutions and frameworks, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
• Fluent in both "Business-Language" and "Technology-language," you will bridge the gap between client requirements and innovative design solutions.
• You have experience in consulting, presales and advising clients.
• You enjoy leading a team but don't mind working individually either.
• Able to collaborate within a large global organization.
• You would like to be in the lead in the space of Cloud Security and Compliance projects that not just meet our clients, but far exceed their expectations.
• You are a creative problem solver, always try thinking ahead and spotting risks, but also new client opportunities.
Your Experience
You should have a proven foundation of at least 8 years across the Security technology industry and (preferably Microsoft 365 and Azure) security offerings. You enjoy talking about security concepts to key stakeholders and have a good understanding of industry trends for cybersecurity, risk & threat intelligence. Your experience includes the following:
• You have proven experience working with a range of security and cloud standards such as ISO27017, NIST, CIS, Azure Benchmark, etc;
• You have proven technical knowledge with Microsoft Security and Compliance, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Network Security (e.g. NSG / ASG) and CI/CD security practices;
• You know the wider Azure eco-system (e.g. Landing zones) and security baseline configurations;
• You display strong consulting expertise - Stakeholder engagement, writing design documentation, presenting, etc;
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Preferably Dutch.
• Preferably multiple Microsoft Security Certifications (e.g. SC-900, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500, AZ-104, AZ-305).
• Industry-recognized certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CEH, etc) passed.
