Position Overview

As the Vice President, GTM Strategy at Autodesk, you will lead the development and execution of innovative go-to-market strategies to drive business growth and performance. Collaboration with senior leadership will be crucial to synchronizing GTM initiatives with Autodesk's broader objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead the development of GTM strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion in both domestic and international markets
  • Exceptional leadership skills and deep experience managing large, cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives at an executive level
  • Extensive business skills with a deep understanding of enterprise business models across multiple disciplines and customer segments
  • Strong ability to oversee the design and implementation of sales performance plans and commission structures
  • In-depth understanding of the SaaS business model, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization techniques
  • Proven ability to consistently deliver excellent results in dynamic and changing environments
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create executive level presentations, visualize data, and articulate a story behind the data and insights
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams while managing and directing work through Senior Directors and DirectorsKey

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective GTM strategies for new and existing offerings to drive growth and enhance business performance
  • Provide executive leadership and inspire multiple high-performing teams while managing and directing the work of Senior Directors and Directors to ensure that strategic initiatives are executed effectively to achieve organizational goals
  • Provide executive oversight and direction to Segment Strategy, M&A, Performance Management, and Business Models, Policies, & Pricing teams
  • Collaborate with senior executives to align GTM strategies with Autodesk's overall strategic objectives
  • Provide strategic direction for the design and implementation of sales performance plans and commission structures, business models, and pricing frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience leading an in-house, global strategy department for an enterprise SaaS company or related executive roles
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Strategy, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven track record in managing partner frameworks and driving partner performance at a global scale
  • Proven track record of successfully integrating teams and business processes post-acquisition
  • Strong network within the technology and SaaS industry

  • Develop Strategy: Ability to develop and execute effective GTM strategies aligned with Autodesk's business goals and establish new segment strategy teams
  • Drive Business Model Innovation: Expertise in setting the strategic direction for the definition and implementation of innovative business models to capture new market opportunities
  • Optimize Performance: Ability to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously optimize GTM processes based on performance data
  • Manage Partner Frameworks and Incentives: Expertise in the development and implementation of partner frameworks and rewardsCompetencies: At Autodesk, we value the soft skills you bring to the table just as much as your technical process

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $240,200 and $330,220. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
