Our UX Research Operations Coordinators collaborate with product teams to enable agile research practice. In this role, you will recruit participants for UX studies, ensure smooth automation of research processes, help with the adoption of technology including AI adoption to speed research. You'll also promote the impacts of our program, ensuring the research reaches and resonates with a wide audience. This entry-level role reports to the Senior Manager of Platform Research & Architecture and will help our team grow operations functionality, and coordinate with research operations teams across Autodesk to assure a great customer experience as we gather feedback on our products.
Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of the UX research operations coordination program across Autodesk's platform
- Understand the personas across Autodesk and how they correspond to the customers we recruit for our studies
- Coordinate all aspects of participant recruitment for user experience research studies, including but not limited to: recruiting from multiple sources, outreach, screening, scheduling, following compliance, and incentives management
- Identify operational needs and gaps. Continuously examine, experiment, and measure improvements to our research operations and processes
- Grow, foster, and administer new participant panels
- Maintain and improve Wiki with accurate, standardized, and transparent processes and procedures
- Ensure all key metrics and research reports from research and design team members are properly documented in company-wide repository and that key results are communicated widely through slack, newsletters and presentations
- Use Airtable for recruiting, backlog maintenance, participant compensation and research reporting
- Maintain close communication with team members to relay status of requests
- Evaluate new tools and help make purchasing decisions in coordination with other Autodesk research teams
- Willingness to learn and build integrations between research, product and operations tooling: Alida, Airtable, Qualtrics, UserTesting.com, Dovetail, Confluence, JIRA, ProductBoard, Sharepoint, Figma, etc.
- Document best practices in our tools, and ensure team members are trained on tool usage
- Help organize and maintain formal research schedules and budgets for research-oriented customer events 3-5 times per year
- Establish metrics for operational success
- Coordinate with design operations
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience in research operations and coordination
- Previous experience with Airtable or other related databases working with tables, data, dashboards
- Knowledge of Wiki
- Ability to communicate clearly through written, verbal, visual and other related communication formats
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple projects and time-driven tasks
- Cross-functional collaboration experience managing multiple stakeholders
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Empathetic, curious, and open-minded
- Attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid/remote global organization
- Ability to learn new software, create procedures and teach others how to use it
