Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk and impact assessments of AI systems and projects using established risk methodologies that align with ISO and NIST frameworks.
  • Perform Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) reviews and relevant control evaluations of AI systems and development processes and recommend actions to address control deficiencies.
  • Document, evaluate, and monitor recommended risk treatment and mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate process walkthroughs and cross functional communications with a diverse range of stakeholders, such as senior engineers, product managers, and others responsible for managing Trust risks in AI.
  • Evaluate AI systems for adherence with relevant internal and external compliance requirements.
  • Create detailed reports of assessment results and prepare presentations to communicate recommendations and obtain leadership commitments.
  • Maintain risk assessment documentation and tracking systems.
  • Support the development of AI risk management policies, procedures, and guidance, and other relevant Trust processes in AI.
  • Evaluate data processing practices for adherence to requirements and acceptable use of data in AI.
  • Coordinate assessments and evaluation of results with other partners in Trust and Legal.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in IT risk management or IT audit.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting ITGC assessments from planning to reporting.
  • Strong understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and associated controls
  • Proven ability to identify, document, and communicate technical risks effectively.
  • Experience in performing evaluations or assessments following a risk-based approach in accordance with risk management frameworks
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and abilities.
  • Strong understanding of security, privacy, and resilience risks and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of governance and compliance concepts and best practices.
  • CISA, CRISC, CISSP or related certifications are preferred.
