Position Overview

This role will drive revenue growth by managing key initiatives and sales performance for the inside sales organization through qualified opportunities. The role includes training, mentoring, coaching, and supervising inside staff. With thorough knowledge of the organization's products and services, the candidate will prioritize and allocate resources, working with the field sales organization to ensure adequate support is provided. Responsibilities include market development, setting targets, fostering relationships between the channel and inside sales team, and ensuring revenue generation by focusing on the India territory sales business.

  • Lead the activities of the territory sales team, including hiring, coaching, talent development, team culture, and performance management
  • Drive incremental revenues by focusing on an account-based selling approach through proper account planning, segmentation, and prioritization
  • Establish and maintain effective long-term customer relationships through staff engagement
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships across various business functions to drive collaboration
  • Collaborate with Marketing to build campaigns ensuring lead quality, quantity, and proper closed-loop metric reporting
  • Develop and leverage relationships with channel partners to improve territory performance and exceed customer expectations
  • Regularly report on team and individual results, including pipeline, conversion rates, and billings attainment
  • Collaborate with internal sales operations stakeholders on reporting and analysis
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance sales productivity
  • Deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Coordinate with internal organizations and resources as needed
  • Ensure CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities
  • Direct the team with corporate goals and SMART goals to deliver results
  • Encourage innovation by exchanging new ideas to improve operations and efficiency within sales and supporting organizations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Business or related disciplines
  • 12-15 years of inside sales experience driving net new business sales in assigned regions
  • 5 years of team management experience, coaching, and mentoring junior and senior team members
  • Experience handling performance management and accountability for team achievements
  • Ability to provide both strategic and operational direction to the team
  • Experience running quarterly and monthly forecasts with senior leaders
  • Preferably experienced in handling the India region as part of the scope
  • Excellent communication skills in English (an additional Asian language is a plus)

The Ideal Candidate

  • Manages a team of Territory Sales Representatives (TSRs) to drive new ACV revenue in the assigned territory
  • Typically focused on areas of subject matter expertise within one discipline
  • Ensures teams remain organized, efficient, effective, productive, and motivated through professional leadership techniques
  • Responsible for managing deliverables against expected results, typically with a timeline longer than a quarter
  • Focuses on operational tasks with decisions made within established policies, procedures, and objectives
