Position Overview

Technical Specialists partner with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to assist in developing and managing strategies for closing business. They meet with individuals at all levels within a customer's organization to understand their issues and position solutions while discovering business opportunities for Autodesk.

The AEC Technical Sales Specialist will focus on Transportation and mining solutions and will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The specialist will report to the Brazil Technical Sales Manager. The territory to be covered is Brazil

We support hybrid work, and you will be expected to live in one of those cities or nearby cities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth assessments of customer processes. Investigate, uncover, and understand the customer's business issues. Utilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry changes to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvement
  • You will capture metrics for quantifying and justifying the customer's return on investment (ROI) for technical closure. Work with Autodesk partners when needed to ensure the adoption of proposed Autodesk solutions
  • Position and sell Autodesk's unique business values in sales situations against other vendors. Presentations, demonstrations, and discussions may be in-person, web-based, or with other mechanisms
  • You will influence product development and product direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunities
  • You will partner with sales representatives to help with the development, management, and execution of strategies
  • Support the success of Autodesk resellers by mentoring reseller personnel on technical sales activities and execution. Support internal sales and team learning through the creation of sales content
  • Participate in company-sponsored events and tradeshows to promote
  • Discover customer business and technical processes/workflows/requirements to build a "trusted advisor" relationship in supporting customers in their digital transformation journey
  • Manage the entire technical evaluation process, from qualification through to post-sales handovers, such as value-focused demos, pilots, RFP submissions, roadmap presentations, and customer outcome proposals
  • Document customer engagements in Salesforce, such as quantifiable pain identified in previous scenarios, technical decision criteria, metrics, risk, and more
  • Lead and present all technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle
  • 5+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas and Mining industry
  • Civil Engineering bachelor's degree from a recognized institute or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Autodesk AEC Infrastructure Solutions (Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D and Infraworks)
  • AWP and BIM knowledge - concept, benefits, Return on investment, implementation
  • Native in the Spanish language
  • English proficiency
  • Able to travel up to 75%

Minimum Qualifications

  • Know about the MEP Building industry.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk AEC solutions (Navisworks, ACC, Collaborate PRO, Revit, Dyanamo, Infodrainage, Infoworks ICM)
  • Knowledge of competitor's construction/infrastructure and building software
  • Previous experience with sales or pre-sales
