Position Overview
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a drive for excellence, and a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Bring innovative technology ideas to the team
- Contribute to system design and engage in design discussions within the team
- Identify skill gaps within the team and drive efforts to fill those gaps
- Identify opportunities for improvement and ways to automate or eliminate inefficiencies
- Exhibit ownership of components or initiatives owned by the team, driving execution following Engineering Practices, Solutions, Quality, and collaborating with key stakeholders
- Contribute to technical discussions across the organization, driving results and business outcomes
- Act as Analysis commander for incidents, driving actions for improvements within and outside the team
- Take on leadership roles like Scrum Master and Product Owner, driving engineering excellence and practices
- Adhere to and contribute to the formation of best practices within the team and Autodesk, as well as industry best practices
- Understand the platform-level impact of a change or solution
- Use sound judgement and reasoning when evaluating a solution or problem, considering its impact, with minimal or no supervision
- Actively participate in long-term strategy discussions, contributing to goal setting and roadmaps
- Produce quality output with minimal oversight
- Network with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise

Minumum Qualifications
- Strong fundamental skills in software development
- Strong knowledge and command of key design principles and coding patterns
- Proficiency in C#, .Net, and WPF
- Familiarity with Git, Github, Jenkins, and Jira
- Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments
- Well-versed in the language/technology being used
Preferred Qualifications
- Drive and passion to grow and excel individually as well as the product
- Exhibit a deep sense of ownership and drive to excel in a fast-paced environment
