We're looking for a passionate Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead and innovate with us, ensuring the best-in-class operation and reliability of our software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll take charge of the Autodesk Identity service, a backbone for over 150 Autodesk applications and an expanding third-party developer ecosystem
  • Developing and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure to support millions of daily users
  • Automating processes to improve system reliability and introducing best practices in continuous integration and deployment
  • Leading efforts in monitoring, alerting, operational visibility, and driving significant efficiency improvements
  • Building tools and frameworks for incident response and resolution while ensuring system compliance with the highest security standards
  • Collaborating closely with agile teams to meet technical and business requirements, mentoring team members, and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar field
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Chef, Packer, Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Proficient with AWS cloud services and understanding of networking and security protocols
  • Strong skills in continuous integration practices, with experience in Jenkins and GitHub
  • Experience in monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, and New Relic
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
  • A strong foundation in container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and service meshes like Istio
  • A commitment to security best practices, especially in cloud environments

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,600 and $144,650. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
