Position Overview
This role is either hybrid or remote role depending on the candidate's location. The successful candidate will report to the AMER Revenue Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform deal and contract reviews to ensure adherence with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
- Perform analysis and reconciliations for ASC 606 GL accounts
- Prepare journal entries for revenue accounting adjustments
- Work closely with global business partners to obtain information necessary to analyze deals and reconcile GL accounts
- Responsible for the preparation of quarterly audit schedules and prepare periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirements
- Implement and document processes and procedures as required including Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Support and participate on companywide projects for revenue accounting, as well as order to cash cycles
- Other revenue accounting or operations related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA and Big 4 preferred, but not required
- 3-5+ years of revenue or general accounting experience
- Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Experience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, , audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors.
- Software company experience (preferred)
- Proficient in Excel (preferred)
- SAP, Business Objects, and RAR experience (preferred)
