Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with expertise in web technologies and a background in automation. You will enhance quality assurance efforts for our web-based applications while transitioning our Moldflow Injection Molding working group to web technologies. You will guide the team in adopting automation, design testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications, and ensure the quality and performance of our products. You will report to the Director and work from our Pune location. We also support a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QA efforts for web-based applications to ensure high quality and performance
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Maintain automation frameworks for web applications
  • Implement automated test scripts and ensure their integration into CI/CD pipelines
  • Architect comprehensive testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications
  • Ensure coverage of functional, regression, performance, and security testing
  • Work with development teams to understand requirements and provide QA insights
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality assurance and automation
  • Apply knowledge of web technologies and Moldflow Injection Molding processes to enhance quality
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in web QA and automation
  • Seek opportunities to enhance QA processes and team efficiency
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in QA and automation tools

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-8 years in quality assurance with a focus on web technologies
  • Experience building automation frameworks
  • Expertise in web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and stakeholders, with strong teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving skills
