Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Incident Response and Security Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive incident response process, managing security operations, and ensuring the protection of our data and cloud environments. This senior-level role requires a good understanding of data security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
This is a hybrid position in Bengaluru, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Security Operations Response processes.
- Lead and coordinate security operations activities, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance incident detection and response capabilities.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future incident response efforts.
- Manage and oversee security operations, including monitoring, detection, and analysis of security events.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
- Provide training and guidance to the team on incident response and security operations best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior team members.
- Report directly to senior leadership and provide strategic insights and recommendations for enhancing the organization's security posture.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior or principal role.
- Proven experience in incident response, security operations, and building response processes.
- Strong knowledge of data security principles, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Vulnerability Management.
- Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and securing cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable.
