Position Overview
As the Senior Manager, Learning Experience Design at Autodesk, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the educational journey of our 1M+ customers and lead the design of learning experiences that drive customer success and product adoption. Your expertise in managing teams to deliver compelling and interactive learning materials on time and on budget will be crucial in meeting the evolving expectations of our customers. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to develop learning experiences that keep our customers engaged and informed.

Are you ready to revolutionize customer education and lead the development of cutting-edge learning experiences? Autodesk is seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Manager to own the portfolio of learning experiences for all Autodesk product lines. In this pivotal role, you will manage content development priorities across various product lines and types of learning experiences, ensuring our customers have access to comprehensive and engaging educational journeys.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire: Manage a high-performing learning team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure individual and team goals are achieved
- Innovate and create: Oversee the design of new customer learning experiences aligned to the overall learning strategy, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, and credentialing. Your team will tailor these programs to meet the diverse needs of our customer base and drive product adoption across various product lines
- Collaborate and prioritize: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to identify customer learning needs and develop relevant content. Regularly gather customer feedback to continuously improve and update learning materials
- Engage and enhance:Ensure instructional materials are engaging, interactive, and clearly meet learning experience objectives. Keep all learning materials up-to-date with the latest product features and industry best practices
- Analyze and improve:Utilize data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of learning experiences and make data-driven improvements. Regularly report on course performance and impact to senior leadership
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience
- 12+ years of experience in the Learning & Development space
- Proven track record of managing a high-performing team of instructional designers and content developers
- Demonstrated ability to translate business outcomes into a learning experience strategy
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies with the ability to apply these principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to senior stakeholders
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Ability to interpret learning data and present actionable insights and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to senior leadership

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $143,000 and $231,220. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
