Position Overview

The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing Autodesk Workplace's strategic goals, focusing on facility capital projects, portfolio optimization, and technology-driven initiatives. This includes managing new office builds, relocations, renovations, and other corporate or technology initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are effectively managed from concept to completion while aligning with Autodesk's standards and culture

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital construction projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Workplace Operations, Real Estate, HR, IT, Procurement, Legal, and others to deliver capital and technology initiatives
  • Collaborate with external partners, including project consultants, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Align project requirements with organizational goals and provide strategic guidance for Workplace Operations projects
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including design, scheduling, budgeting, and construction closeout
  • Develop and implement workplace guidelines to create creative, functional, and sustainable environments
  • Source, select, and manage external consultants and contractors in line with Autodesk standards
  • Apply continuous quality control measures to ensure consistency and high-quality buildouts
  • Prepare and manage capital project budgets as part of annual fiscal planning
  • Maintain financial oversight, monitor project delivery, and ensure adherence to corporate deadlines
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders through monthly and quarterly reports
  • Archive project documents and final reports during project closeout processes
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and strategic partners, and collaborate with product development teams to test or pilot new products
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks and documentation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, architecture, or a related field
  • LEED-AP and/or WELL-AP certification preferred; 2+ years of experience in high-performance environmental projects
  • 10+ years of project management experience in corporate real estate and facilities, with international experience preferred
  • Experience with real estate transactions, including lease/work letter review and site evaluation
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems preferred
  • Expertise in project forecasting, budgeting, planning, design, and scheduling within APAC
  • Strong management skills to handle dynamic workloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to deliver workplace solutions aligned with Autodesk's culture and values
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and able to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Proficient in public speaking, executive reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Skilled in financial analysis, strategic planning, and office design/construction
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint required
  • Familiarity with Autodesk products such as AutoCAD and Revit preferred
  • Flexible to work with US time zones and HQ schedules
