Position Overview

The Autodesk Developer Enablement Team empowers internal and external developers to seamlessly integrate Autodesk solutions across desktop and web platforms. We are seeking a motivated Principal Software Engineer in Test to join us in Bangalore, India, and be part of our journey in building the next-generation platform.

You will work alongside a team of diverse, intelligent, and driven engineers. In this role, you will own software quality and ensure that released software meets or exceeds expectations. You will be responsible for building, owning, and maintaining test automation frameworks for various components of the Delivery Platform and will use agile practices to enable rapid, iterative development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall quality of the platform, components, and services
  • Design, build, and maintain test automation for desktop clients and components
  • Align individual goals with broader organizational objectives
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
  • Drive and champion CI/CD and automation practices across the organization
  • Contribute to both manual and automated testing for related components and releases

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software engineering and test automation experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile processes is a plus
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, C++, and AWS for desktop/web development
  • Experience or familiarity with automation frameworks and practices such as GTest, Selenium, TDD, and BDD
  • Cross-platform development experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux is a plus
