Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal Program Manager to join our enablement team. You will report to our Senior Manager, Tools and Process Enablement and be responsible for planning and executing programs to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. When you join us, as the Principal Program Manager you will work with multiple stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and cross-functional teams, to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop detailed program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Manage program activities, ensuring agreement on organizational goals and priorities
  • You will lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction
  • Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and leadership
  • You will mentor team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Engage with and understand their needs and expectations, ensuring they are met throughout the program lifecycle
  • Prepare and deliver regular program status updates, reports, and presentations
  • Manage relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
  • Identify potential risks that could hinder program success, developing mitigation strategies
  • Monitor program progress, proactively addressing any deviations from the plan
  • Conduct post-program evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Monitor program expenditures, making adjustments to stay within budget
  • Ensure resources are available and allocated to achieve program goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, with experience managing large-scale programs
  • Experience in Sales and/or enablement programs
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
  • PMP, or similar project or program management certification
  • 5+ Years of experience on a global enablement team
  • 5+ Years of experience supporting a revenue generating organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

Qualifications minimales

  • 8 ans d'expérience en tant que gestionnaire de programme ou dans un rôle similaire, avec une expérience de la gestion de programmes à grande échelle
  • Compétences en matière de leadership et de gestion d'équipe, avec la capacité d'inspirer et de motiver les autres
  • Capacité à s'engager avec les parties prenantes à tous les niveaux
  • Maîtrise des logiciels et outils de gestion de projet (par exemple, MS Project, Asana, Trello)
  • PMP, ou certification similaire en gestion de projet ou de programme
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience au sein d'une équipe d'habilitation mondiale
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans le soutien d'une organisation génératrice de revenus

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $137,100 and $188,540. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
