Partner ManagerThis individual will act as a liaison between Partners and Autodesk to facilitate effective joint execution of customer plans, open communications, and healthy business relationships. The key focus of this role will be to take a leadership position within assigned Channel Partners through enabling, influencing, coaching, and motivating Partner executives and sales teams. The individual will need strong influencing and relationship-building skills to motivate and align with their assigned Partners. The Partner Sales Manager will also be involved in identifying and formulating recommendations to help solve Partners' business challenges that are limiting their ability to expand and grow their Autodesk business. Ultimately, a successful Partner Sales Manager is viewed as a trusted Autodesk Sales Manager by Partner leaders and sales teams while driving growth and expansion of their Autodesk business. Responsibilities• Drives revenue growth by identifying sales strategies with Partners, sets targets/milestones, measures results, supports execution • Understands Partners' business and organizational structure• Ensures common vision between Autodesk and Partners• Works with Partners to help identify areas of investment.• Aligns internal resources with partner resources at appropriate levels of the organization from sales reps to executives in sales, marketing, operations finance etc.• Conducts regular forecast/pipeline reviews with Partners• Oversees contractual requirements with Partners• Ensures assigned Partners understand product and marketing information and are capable to represent Autodesk in relevant industries, products, services, and strategies• Ensures Partners are effectively utilizing Autodesk sales tools as part of quarterly execution• Coordinates joint execution of quarterly sales plans with extended Autodesk sales teams• Assists and holds Partners accountable to execution of defined quarterly sales plans via Partner sales rep mentoring and situational coaching• Identifies causation of over/under performance by Partners through a variety of methods (pipeline management, observation, feedback, etc.) and modifies plans accordingly• Develop recommendations to improve Partner's sales strategies, coverage, and capabilitiesMinimum Qualifications• Minimum 5+ years of proven sales and/or partner sales experience• Bachelor's degree or sufficient experience• Ability to influence and motivate without direct authority• Strong business acumen• Proactive approach, flexible, able to operate in constantly changing environmentPreferred Qualifications• Existing relationships with ADSK partners.• Knowledge of sales processes and sales management principals• Knowledge of Autodesk solutions and industries served• Experience in a customer-facing sales or services-oriented role (SaaS experience ideal)• Knowledge of geographical area.• Resides in geographical area.
