Position Overview
Reporting to the Director and Manager of Vendor Management (VM), The VM Intern will be responsible for inventorying, reviewing and creating Vendor Management processes based on benchmark data and best practices to create efficiencies for the team.
The Vendor Management Intern will work closely with the VM team and possibly experts outside of Autodesk to research processes and platforms for VM. The intern may also work with suppliers to understand our current end to end VM lifecycle. This requires a passion for research, customer service, and a curiosity and interest in solving complex challenges.
Responsibilities
- Understand the VM lifecycle and inventory what standard operating procedures exist, and which would be helpful
- Review our VM dashboard(s), our workbench and provide recommendations for improvement based on interviews with key stakeholders
- Implement a plan to transition the VM team from working in Outlook to working in a vendor management dashboard

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently a full-time student pursuing a BA/BS in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Sourcing or other Operations related field
- Excellent analytical, organizational, tactical and strategic planning and presentation skills
- Ability to establish workflows, manage multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlines
- Understanding of vendor management or purchasing platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Scout
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of software, Saas, Paas, and hardware licensing
About the US Intern Program
The 2025 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 19 - August 8 or June 16 - September 5). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Salary Transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate's experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
- $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
