As the Industry Strategy Senior Manager for Architecture, you will be part of the AEC Design (Industry Strategy) Group. The Industry Strategy team is responsible for establishing long-term Industry Strategy & Vision; developing and validating opportunities to establish Autodesk's foundation for future growth, creating strategies for bringing new and transformational technologies into industry workflows, and driving business development activities (including partnership and M&A strategy and execution). The Industry Strategy Senior Manager for Architecture is responsible for driving the development of new opportunities and initiatives including strategies to bring Autodesk's next generation solution platforms into industry workflows.

The successful candidate will be a highly strategic and structured thinker who can work closely with customers and product teams to develop solutions to key existing and emerging workflows. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally partnership with the AEC Industry Business, GTM, Marketing and Market Intelligence teams to deliver a strategy and execution plan that lands successfully with our customers and establishes a clear thought-leader position. The candidate will engage the Industry through customer councils, industry events, industry working committees, and executive customer engagements.

Responsibilities:

The specific responsibilities of the Industry Strategy Senior Manager, Architecture include the following:

  • You will collaborate to lead development of the strategic GTM plan (short and long-term) for Architecture. Work with peers in the Industry Strategy team to develop AEC Strategy and contribute to drive initiatives across vertical industries.
  • You will lead market research, analyze data and customer feedback, evaluate industry trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • You will collaborate with the Product, Marketing and Sales teams to influence and implement growth plans including successful GTM approaches for new products and platforms.
  • You will present findings and deliver GTM recommendations to leadership including Strategic Plans & Opportunity Proposals.
  • You will engage customers and the industry - Executive Customer Councils, Executive Briefings, Industry Events & Working Groups, and Media Support.
  • You will collaborate to lead partnerships as well as M&A strategy & execution for the Architecture business

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of related experience
  • Strong, practical experience in Architecture
  • Passion for technology and knowledge of software, IT and technology trends - technology fluency.
  • Exceptional business fundamentals and a background in solving complex customer problems.
  • Strong experience collaborating cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.
  • Outstanding customer/market research, analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audience.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15%.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
