Position Overview

The Industry Territory Sales Executive focuses on expanding new business and renewals in key accounts, aiming to meet financial targets. This role includes a sales quota and is evaluated based on quarterly and annual goals through up-selling, add-on sales, and cross-selling. Reporting to the Country Director, you will collaborate with Inside Sales, Autodesk Partner Management, Autodesk Channel Partners, and Autodesk Field Sales.

This hybrid role requires 50% or more travel, covering North Mexico.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by creatively expanding existing accounts
  • Proactively manage renewals in main accounts
  • Evaluate and prepare business plans for each assigned account
  • Assess customer profiles, create value messaging, and identify key steps to build account plans
  • Develop important relationships within the account, particularly with Key Executives, translating customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value
  • Ensure Autodesk delivers business value to accounts, builds effective business plans, executes them, maintains and grows opportunity pipelines, uses sound call planning to achieve goals, and continuously improves positioning Autodesk from vendor to trusted advisor
  • Manage accounts throughout the entire sales process; conduct on-site visits for business development, prospecting, specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
  • Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly business forecasts
  • Collaborate with channel partners to understand their business, creatively adapt programs to increase new revenue, and expand business partner relationships
  • Provide regular customer feedback to product, industry, and strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas for improvement
  • Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within target accounts, with a primary focus on key executives
  • Sell complex service engagements and seek alternative solutions where necessary
  • Establish oneself as a Trusted Adviser for customers, identifying win-win situations
  • Assist customers and the company in developing success reference stories

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with consultative selling at an enterprise level
  • 10+ years sales experience in business-to business sales
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time
  • Work as a team member as well leading the expanded team
