Position Overview
Are you interested in supporting the design and delivery of compensation programs in a software design and services company that is truly shaping the world? As a Compensation Analyst, you will collaborate with and support the internal Compensation Team by creating the tools, analytics, and communication materials that reinforce our Compensation programs.
This position will report to the Senior Compensation Enablement Manager and can be 100% remote in the U.S.
Responsibilities
Ad Hoc Pay Range Creation
- Assist in the development and maintenance of pay ranges for various job families, based on market data, internal equity, and organizational compensation philosophy. Provide support to the Compensation Team and HR stakeholders in determining appropriate salary ranges for new or revised roles

Salary Survey Submissions
- Participate in the collection and analysis of compensation data for external salary surveys. Ensure timely and accurate submission of survey data, and assist in interpreting results to provide insights on market competitiveness
Compensation Analysis & Reporting
- Perform detailed compensation analysis to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for improvement. Generate and maintain reports on compensation metrics, such as salary increases, promotions, and equity adjustments
Operational Support
- Assist with day-to-day compensation administration tasks, including reviewing compensation requests and managing internal compensation approvals within Workday
Compensation Documentation & Communication
- Assist in the preparation of compensation-related education materials for internal stakeholders, such as leaders and HR stakeholders. Support the development of communication strategies related to compensation changes and programs
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP) are a plus
- 2-3 years of experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or related field. Experience with salary surveys, pay benchmarking, or compensation project support is highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level), HRIS systems (Workday preferred), and compensation management tools. Familiarity with compensation benchmarking software is a plus
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey compensation information clearly to a variety of stakeholders
- Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $65,000 and $112,200. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
