Responsibilities

Compass is Atlassian's Internal Developer experience Platform (IDP), which plays a pivotal role in eliminating obstacles by creating a comprehensive catalog of all software components. This includes details on ownership, changelogs, and health-check metrics. Currently, we are seeking an experienced DevExp Partner Solutions Architect.

For this role, we want someone who executes with fine precision: part pre-sales solution engineer, part implementation consultant, and part enablement facilitator. The job is not just about the Developer Experience focus only but also about how to increase the knowledge of our Partner's field teams and accelerate the partner selling motions while guiding them toward successful implementation practices that ensure customer success.

You will collaborate with the Channel teams, Partner managers, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Technical Architects and play a key part in a global team dedicated to ensuring the success of new and existing partners in one of our fastest-growing segments.

  • Work within the Partner Solutions Acceleration team to develop the Solution strategy to grow and accelerate our DevExp partner eco-system.
  • Advance DevExp solution strategy through building collateral such as Use Cases, blueprints, and reference architecture.
  • Support channel partners through various stages of a Deal Cycle from pre-sales to post-sales by providing technical expertise and thought leadership that helps partners effectively deliver to customers.
  • Partner with Channel team to develop compelling account strategies, helping Atlassian drive co-selling motions with partners
  • Partner with product management to identify areas of opportunity to advance Atlassian's product line; be a key source of market feedback into the product organization from channel partners.
  • Develop and deliver channel partner technical enablement workshops that drive partner success.
  • Chip in on thought leadership, including representing Atlassian at conferences, and partner events.

Qualifications

  • You are a Solutions Architect, that is willing to put hands on keyboard and architect from ref architecture to solutions or you have a strong Developer background
  • You are well versed with common Industry Developer Tools (CI/CD Pipelines, AI, IDPs, APIs, Observability, AWS DevOps Stack etc.) and are familiar with how they play a crucial role in the evolution of Developer Productivity
  • You are familiar and can articulate Atlassian's Developer Tools (Jira Software, Compass, Jira Product Discovery etc.) as a user or architect
  • You share a passion for new ways of working with DevExp Use Cases , you ask tough questions that inspire customers to explore changes to their approach
  • Be a creative problem solver who can interpret sophisticated problem statements with the ability to deliver innovative solutions that unlock better ways of working, sometimes with 3rd party integrations or marketplace applications.
  • Excel at boiling these down into simple solutions while collaborating with channel partners and sales teams to deliver winning solutions
  • Love to learn, are open to giving and receiving feedback, tolerate failure, love to win, and are passionate about making partners successful.
  • Still, reading? Strong familiarity with Atlassian products is desired. Have you reviewed and played with Atlassian's Compass?
  • You understand the practices by which software gets defined, built, and deployed.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $148,700 - $198,300

Zone B: $133,800 - $178,400

Zone C: $123,400 - $164,600

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
