Global Experiences is newly formed platform organization in Atlassian with an ambitious mission to transform the Atlassian Portfolio into a simple and intuitive platform to use for our customers to connect their tech and business teams, help scale effective communication practices between teams and empowering them to work differently, together.
As Senior Group Product Manager for Global Apps, you will be part of Global Experience leadership team and will lead the sub-mission to restructure Atlassian's shared features and functionalities into 'Global Apps' that will be the connective tissue between all of Atlassian's first party and third party products and bring Atlassian platform to the forefront for users. You'll be responsible for the individual product managers in the team, strategy, vision, roadmap and overall success of this mission. You'll work regularly with our CEO (also our Co-CEO's), our SVP and Heads of Products across the organisation to evangelise the vision, manage expectations and make decisions across all of Atlassian's product portfolio impacting the collective future of all our products.
- Lead a large team of talented PMs, mentoring and growing them both individually and as part of a cohesive outcome-oriented team.
- Develop product strategy for a department on a multi-year time horizon considering technical execution, GTM tactics, and business upside.
- Prioritise the fastest path to high impact balancing the needs of our users with those of the business and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions.
- Partner with research, data science, and design to deeply understand where the user experience is not currently meeting the bar.
- Communicate to variety of people and functions and influence without authority at all levels of the organization.
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
- Extensive experience in product management experience building large-scale Platforms.
- A strong track record in people management and development of managers & ICs.
- Experience working in the B2B SAS space serving Enterprise customers.
- A track record for defining and executing Platform strategies that create business and customer value.
- Ability to quantitatively and qualitatively understand complex problems, prioritize business and customer needs.
- Excel in an environment where the topics and tasks are varied and you have to move quickly and learn fast.
- A passion for raising the product craft bar and driving best practices throughout the company
Typically, product managers at this level at Atlassian have:
- 10+ years of product management experience
- Computer science or a related technical degree
