As Principal Product Manager, you'll be part of the Enterprise Foundations Team, reporting to the Head of Product for Enterprise Data Center.
In this role, you'll drive strategic initiatives across high-priority areas under the Enterprise remit. Ideal for a strategic thinker, you will play a crucial role in defining the future for Atlassian's Enterprise customers, who operate in regulated industries across Europe and require advanced Cloud deployment options. The role will involve collaborating across a number of horizontal teams, as well as presenting and influencing executive leaders to shape strategies impacting the broader Enterprise value proposition.

- Your first assignment will be to understand the regulated industry market in Europe, identify customer requirements, define a compelling future value proposition, and develop a clear roadmap to achieve it.
- Lead and execute both short and long-term projects, aligning with our Enterprise strategy.
- Navigate areas of uncertainty and bring clarity to ambiguous situations. Utilize your conceptual thinking skills, crisp written communication, and business acumen to provide clear direction.
- Disambiguate complex issues to aid decision-making and develop product strategies across multiple teams. Consider technical execution, go-to-market tactics, and business opportunities over a multi-year horizon.
- Present strategies and facilitate workshops to drive shared understanding and alignment across stakeholders at all levels of Atlassian.
- Prioritize effectively to achieve high impact quickly, balancing user needs with business objectives. Clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions.
- Set the standard for product management excellence, embodying both the art and science of the discipline.
Your background
- 10+ years experience working in product roles, with various years working with enterprise and regulated industries customers with a focus on EMEA
- Strong cloud platform knowledge and understanding of the market
- Knowledge of digital sovereignty, with a focus on privacy, data encryption, and EU sovereignty.
- Practical product knowledge of key security features and systems; identity, encryption, monitoring and analysis, scanning, and other key components
- Practical product knowledge of security operations; risk modeling, threat analysis, incident response, and Red / Blue teaming
- Regulatory experience with key industry compliance accreditations in particular those for the public sector eg C5, Secret and Top Secret, and other European regulatory standards.
- Demonstrable experience across the product lifecycle - strategy, roadmap planning, delivery, and monitoring / growth.
- Fluent German will be an asset
