The role
Loom is looking for a Lead Product Designer who will lead the Loom Admin experience end-to-end across the Loom core product and integrations within the Atlassian product suite, reaching millions of people inside the Loom and Atlassian products they already use. You will report into the Head of Design at Loom. This is a remote role. To help our teams work together, you must be located between PST and EST.

You'll collaborate with product management and engineering to define the problem space and roadmap on how Loom will grow and expand to enterprise customers. You'll embrace a deep understanding of the admin/buyer persona and advocate for the user in order to define, design, and deliver innovative solutions that will deliver both user needs and business impact.
What you'll do
- Impact millions of users globally as you empower them to maximize the full potential of Loom and Atlassian products
- Lead and deliver complex and high-impact product design projects that help raise the quality bar for our users - from conceptual models to UI design.
- Define Loom's strategy on continued upmarket growth and expansion to enterprise customers from a user's perspective
- Collaborate with a range of cross-functional teams (including Engineering, Product Management, Research, Design, Marketing, and Data Science) across our Atlassian product portfolio.
- Conduct user research with our admin/buyer persona, using various methods and principles to gain insights into customer needs and inform design solutions.
- Contribute to our Design System by creating new components, templates, and guidelines
- Mentor designers and contribute to cultivating a design culture that yields designers to do their best work
Your background
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Product Design (and at least 2 of which involve Enterprise SaaS design)
- An outstanding portfolio, with presentable case studies showcasing a foundation in typography, interaction and visual design, product sense, and idea generation.
- You are a user advocate and understand admin buyer needs for identity, security, privacy and compliance, and are comfortable with the related technical and legal concepts
- Strong UX-design skillset encompassing designing thinking methods, user research, persona development, concept modelling, flow diagrams, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, etc.
- Proficiency in iterative design processes: constantly sketching, sharing work, validating with customers, iterating, shipping, and learning.
- Experience in conducting and applying user research
- Experience collaborating with a diverse team in a rapid growth environment. Huge plus if you've worked with distant teammates and understand the communication patterns of working with highly distributed teams.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $188,700 - $251,600
Zone B: $169,900 - $226,500
Zone C: $156,600 - $208,900
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
