As a backend-focused developer in our full-stack team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop scalable API solutions that empower our provider-facing front-ends. We embrace industry best practices, including continuous delivery and agile methodologies, allowing you to see your work come to life quickly through our two-week sprints. Your feedback will help us refine our features as we roll them out to our customers!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Write, debug, deploy, and support production code while delivering timely fixes.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain robust backend APIs, microservices, and macroservices.
  • Collaborate with the team to adhere to our Definition of Done (DoD) during sprints, ensuring quality through unit tests, functional testing, code reviews, and thorough documentation.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of backend software engineering experience, preferably with .NET (C#) or Java.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, ideally in healthcare.
  • A strong foundation in REST API development.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services, especially Azure or AWS.
  • Proficiency in databases, particularly relational DBs; familiarity with Cosmos or Redis is a bonus.
  • Experience with Agile and CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, or GraphQL is a plus.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks, such as Playwright or Cypress, is a bonus.
  • A passion for writing code that is technically sound, performant, scalable, and easy to read.
