ASML US is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our US General Accounting team. As part of the general accounting team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, contributing to the end-to-end global financial processes of our organization. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team, part of an international, cutting-edge organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support the general accounting processes for US entities, ensuring month-end close procedures are timely completed and journal entries are posted with appropriate backup in accordance with GAAP.
  • Work with stakeholders across US entities to monitor and implement internal control frameworks. Work with departmental managers and process owners to address control deficiencies and implement corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control principals, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, analyze general ledger monthly fluctuations and variances.
  • Collaborate with both global and regional stakeholders on end-to-end process flows. Drive stakeholder management with regional controllers and end business users.
  • Drive process improvements and assist on special projects.
  • Comply and assist with internal and external audits by providing appropriate documentation and information, as requested.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA and/or Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 7 years experience in public accounting and/or large multi-national corporations.
  • Minimum 7 years experience with SAP and Oracle or similar software.
Skills
  • Understanding of GAAP standards
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and carry critical tasks and improvements to completion.
  • Ability to evaluate and streamline process improvements.
  • Work in a team environment and demonstrate ability to collaborate cross functionally.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues around the US as well as internationally
  • Propensity to be a self-starter and results driven.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel
Other Information
  • It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$80,625-134,375
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
