Roles and responsibilities
As a Product Lifecycle Management Project Lead you will provide a key interface with Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Suppliers, and Procurement to align deliverables and coordinate activities with a team of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Project Coordinators, providing guidance on overall project schedule and deliverables and mobilize resources if needed to fulfill the plans.

In your role as Product Lifecycle Management Project Lead you will also
  • Define, secure and monitor the supply chain assigned deliverables in the Product Generation Process (new builds, installs, upgrades and service products) to lead Wilton PLM team into all KD (Key Decision) deliverables upcoming for programs confirmed in the Business Line roadmap.
  • Provide a key interface with manufacturing, planning, suppliers, and procurement to align deliverables and coordinate activities with a team of PLM Project Coordinators, providing guidance on overall project schedule and deliverables. Mobilize resources if needed to fulfill the plans.
  • Identify bottle necks, prepare decisions and take actions towards engineering, suppliers, factories as well as the field to manage the critical path of new parts as well as complex parts and assemblies both for time-to-market and ramp up and secure Supply Chain Readiness
  • Manage the key technical product documentation and bill of materials for given product configurations for the supply chain.
  • Drive continuous improvement with supply chain analytics, reporting and metrics to enable data driven decisions.
  • First point of contact for supply chain operations aspects and related issues in the project cluster team.
  • Report to business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.
  • Prepare and present supply/demand forecasts and risks to the cross sector cluster team.
  • Represent sourcing & procurement in cross sector discussions for assigned scope of projects.
  • Stakeholder management: deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders both at operational and executive levels.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in supply chain/logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, project management or business administration or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5 years demonstrated operation-based experience within supply chain and project management or relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in new product introduction in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience in planning and logistics processes in a high-tech, low-volume environment is a plus.
  • Experience with working in a technical environment is required.

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

  • May require travel dependent on business needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
