The Manufacturing Product Transfer Manager will be responsible for assessing the current supplier landscape and aligning this with Wilton Factories Strategic portfolio vision. This role will play a critical part in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost optimization, improve supply chain efficiency, and ensure a reliable and high-quality supply of goods necessary for production. They will work with internal cross sectors to align on long term technical and customer roadmaps and then helping sourcing and procurement to identify suppliers that share that same capabilities and visions of the future. Focus of the work is on strategic continuous improvement and operational excellence by managing and improving volume process control, process optimization and supplier development.

Role and responsibilities
The candidate will evaluate products for make / buy decisions, taking into account the manufacturing competencies and cost or time to market for a competitive advantage for ASML in technology. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical sourcing expertise, supply chain knowledge, and strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Help to drive the strategic long term planning and manufacturing roadmap of ASML.
- Identify and establish outsourcing projects. This includes preparing business cases, evaluating cost initiatives, securing CAPEX and OPEX funding as well as necessary support from cross-sectors
- Assisting cross sectors to Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers who meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Work with factory facilities planning to review expansion plans and identify space and capacity constraints
- Communicate clear plans to management
- Manage the cross functional team
- Ability to manage and motivate a team (strong team leadership, performance management)
- Responsible for employee development, coaching and mentoring skills to optimize the performance of individuals
- Clear reporting and escalation of issues/ barriers to senior management
Education and experience
- BS in a technical field; engineering or sciences and 8+ years experience in Project Leadership Role or Masters in related technical field with 5+ years of experience in Project Leadership
- 5 years minimum experience with internal/external customers at a technical and task management level
- Experience in building and maintaining strategic relations with suppliers
- Experience in managing and coaching of professionals in a production / operations environment

- Strong analytical skills, process oriented, business sense and capability to develop vision and strategy
- Excellent communication skills, interfacing and convincing on all levels
- Strong negotiation skills and able to influence at high level within matrix organization
- Pro-active, act under high pressure and thinking out of the box

- Experience in new product introduction to a high volume manufacturing environment
- Familiar with lean / six-sigma manufacturing methodologies
