Introduction to the Job

The ASML Silicon Valley Development Operations and HPC Team continuously improves on 7 main processes: Code, Build, Test, Package, Release, Configure, Monitor.

This candidate will be expected to work under the supervision of a senior DevOps engineer or Team Lead. A successful candidate is expected to be able to learn and contribute.

You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop and implement automation scripts or tools on CI/CD infrastructure

- Analyze and debug issues

- Document processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

- Assist Senior engineers on DevOps Infrastructure and frameworks

- Any on-demand software tool development tasks.

Education and Experience

- Rising senior of Bachelor student or Master student in Computer Science, Computer engineering , Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills

- Proficient in scripting languages ( Python, Bash, Shell)

- Windows, Unix or Linus experience is required.

- Experience in Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes are a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Other Information
  • This engineer is required onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. (Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)
  • A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.
Role within Office

Responsibilities
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20pounds.
  • May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
