This position is located on-site in San Diego, California

Role and responsibilities:
As a Training and Development Intern, you will support the system administration and continuous improvement initiatives of the San Diego EUV Operations Training & Development team. You will support the Training & Development team through data entry, validation, and visualization. You will assist with facilitating the circulation of staff communications and overseeing the day to day coordination and delivery of training initiatives.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) data entry, verification, reporting, and administration.
  • Data validation and visualization.
  • Develop and deliver Ops-wide communications.
  • Maintain document management systems.
  • Build and maintain a network of stakeholders; effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Notify the Training Manager of any discrepancies in the day-to-day execution of projects.
  • Organize and attend relevant meetings events.
  • Interface with stakeholders (Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning & Logistics, Operational Excellence, and others in the Learning & Knowledge Management community) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success and effectiveness of the Training and Development team.

Education and experience
  • Requires a student in process of obtaining a Bachelor or higher degree in business management, communications, organizational psychology, and organizational development.
  • Proficiency with a variety of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, LMS, SharePoint, and scheduling applications) required
  • Excel proficiency with data entry, formulas/functions, data visualization, pivot tablespreferred

Skills
  • Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner and escalate as necessary to meet business needs
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs
  • Ability to manage complex situations with diverse requirements with good judgment
  • Ability learn and apply new information or skills; Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive risk mitigation and problem-solving
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
