This position is based in New Product Introduction Group (NPI) within the manufacturing sector in Wilton, Connecticut. The scope of the work includes management of Manufacturing Engineering (ME) deliverables in cleanroom facility expansion projects, work center (assembly area) layout, updates to existing layout drawings, ad hoc issue resolution, work preparation, supporting and advising the production engineering department, structural improvement projects related to the Wilton Cleanroom Facility.
Role and responsibilities
- Coordination of End User requirements to facilities team for new facility expansion projects and cleanroom changes.
- Manage Manufacturing Engineering deliverables of many simultaneous facilities projects: scope includes expansion, relocation, re-arrangement of existing cleanroom spaces.
- Update and create 2D CAD files of work center layouts (furniture, tooling, assembly spaces).
- Create and update Siemens NX models with updated work center layouts.
- Documentation of cleanroom construction requirements (creation and updates).
- Compile and advise on facility requirements of new projects (ex/ water, gases, electrical).
- Gain familiarity with best practices of cleanroom design and concepts.
- Interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a broad range of levels.
- Build-up and maintain state-of-art knowledge in the field of contamination control technology.
Education and experience
Bachelor of Science Required (Civil, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related engineering preferred)
Skills
Experience:
- Experience with facility projects preferred.
- Exposure to cleanrooms, semiconductors,or particle-sensitive experience preferred.
- Exposure to project management preferred.
- At least three years' experience in an Engineering environment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent 2D CAD program preferred.
- Working knowledge of Unigraphics, NX, Teamcenter, and SAP a plus.
- Preferences:
- knowledge in civil engineering
- Knowledge of Cleanroom technology.
- Knowledge of clean way of working and clean production processes.
- Experience with working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with executing audits or assessments.

- Work in a fast-paced office environment, including working in a standing or seated position for long periods sometimes exceeding 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Commute to ASML's facility and report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basis
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to finger, handle and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach and stretch
