As a Business Intelligence (BI) Business Scientist at ASML, you will be responsible for extracting meaningful insights from vast volumes of data to inform strategic business decisions. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their data needs, employing statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques to provide actionable insights. Your work will help drive innovation, optimize processes, and enhance decision-making across the organization.

Job description

As a Business Scientist you will:
  • Analyze complex datasets using advanced statistical modeling techniques to identify trends and insights
  • Create visually compelling reports and dashboards to communicate data insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide them with actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated data models and databases
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business objectives
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging methodologies to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in data science practices

Education and experience

A Master's degree or equivalent with a technical focus in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or similar

We are looking for high potentials who are willing to learn and challenge themselves! The following experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in data analysis & analytics or a related field.
  • Highly proficient in SQL and/or Python
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Spotfire or Tableau
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and modeling, with experience in machine learning algorithms being a plus

Responsibilities
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • U.S. Flexible Work policy may be available to employees who work in conductive roles. Mutually-beneficial alternative work arrangement must be approved by manager - hybrid working Model.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$98,250-163,750
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
