Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Software Project Leader to join our team in Japan. This

role involves working on-site with our customer in Atsugi, Kanagawa. The successful

candidate will be responsible for driving the overall SW engineering activity of next

generation SW Product platforms. Within an international environment, He/She is

responsible for planning, technical coordination of the different SW engineering teams

working on the platform projects

Responsibilities:
• Collaborator with product platform project teams such as Project management,

System, Hardware, Safety, and Validation engineering teams.

• Owner of the overall planning, Development plan and technical definition of the project

to reach different milestones & maturity plan in line with the SW Engineering

requirements hence all activities related to MAN3 & SWE1.
• Drive the different SW sub teams working on the project: on site, offshore, suppliers of

SW COTS.
• Provide clear planning, risks and issues and follow up on the SW project engineering

activities and budget.
• Responsible for overall SW project requirements SWE1 work products and driving

different sub-SW teams to define, elicitation of requirements, create, review the SW

requirements packages related to them.
• Support review of upstream requirements from the different engineering teams such

SYS, HW , Safety , Validation.
• Support the offshore BSW teams related to BSW activities and facilitate the interaction

with internal & external stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor SW team members to manage the risks.
• Communicate early and often about any significant events or issues affecting the team

or delivery schedule and quality
• Improve processes or propose improvement where applicable.
• Ensures building components with a modular approach that supports reusability

across different platforms in collaboration with global SW teams.

Key qualifications:
• Degree in computer science and/or electronics
• 10 years of experience in Software Engineering with at least 5 years in automotive

industry within projects using MBD development in AUTOSAR context.
• 3-5 years of experience as a SW Project technical leader
• Experience in full lifecycle software development of real time embedded software

projects.
• Experience in Critical safety SW architecture activities such SW Safety decomposition,

Freedom from interference, E-GAS concepts, and SW safety critical path analysis ASIL

C / ASIL D.

Technical skills:
• Strong knowledge on embedded C language development
• Strong knowledge on A-SPICE processes.
• Good knowledge of ISO26262-6 and AUTOSAR standards.
• Knowledge of tools: IBM EWM, Doors NG, SVN, Jira.
• Knowledge on microcontroller architecture
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Soft skills:
• Fluency in Japanese is a must.
• Fluency in English is a must
• Collaboration and team spirit.
• Leadership and ability to unite.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
