Position Summary
Arcesium seeks a highly motivated, Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Capital team for a temporary role. As a Benefits Coordinator the candidate will interact with our internal employees and vendors daily. The candidate will work with colleagues to answer their questions regarding benefits and leaves.
Responsibilities
- Manage the administration of new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and COBRA.
- Maintain records for short-term and long-term disability, workers' compensation, and FMLA leaves.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Review and monitor reports from administrators and insurance carriers to ensure compliance with plan requirements.
- Review and resolve disputes related to vendor invoices, and report on fees and costs.
- Address inquiries from employees and vendors regarding benefits administration, including qualifying events, enrollment questions, and employee deductions.
- Keep employees informed about benefits changes and updates, including eligibility and coverage.
- Ensure adherence to COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in benefits plan management and coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
- Resourceful with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
The applicable annual base salary paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
